28:1 [A Psalme of Dauid.] Vnto thee will I cry, O Lord, my rocke, be not silent to mee: lest if thou be silent to me, I become like them that goe downe into the pit. Margin Note
28:2 Heare the voyce of my supplications, when I cry vnto thee: when I lift vp my handes toward thy holy Oracle. Margin Note
28:3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquitie: which speake peace to their neighbors, but mischiefe is in their hearts.  
28:4 Giue them according to their deedes, and according to the wickednes of their endeuours: giue them after the worke of their handes, render to them their desert.  
28:5 Because they regard not the workes of the Lord, nor the operation of his hands, he shal destroy them, and not build them vp.  
28:6 Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voyce of my supplications.  
28:7 The Lord is my strength, and my shield, my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly reioyceth, and with my song will I praise him.  
28:8 The Lord is their strength, and hee is the sauing strength of his Anointed. Margin Note
